About Erika

Professional Experience includes teaching mathematics at all levels 6-12th grades. Nanny experience with 5 girls, including newborn, premature twins. Senior Care experience as a caretaker for my mother after a debilitating stroke. When I am tutoring we focus on understanding applications. Learning with laughter is my specialty. Whether caring for infants, seniors, or tutoring, calm kindness is my mode. I am highly flexible and easy-going, with a positive attitude about challenges. I am driven to do my absolute best, even when it means working harder to get the job done well. I believe love and laughter make every experience better. Teaching made me appreciate how many students and adults search for a personal connection in their daily lives. I enjoy sharing stories and listening to other's adventures.
