About Erin

I started working with kids 4 years ago in a daycare setting. I started out as a float teacher getting to know each of the classrooms ages 1-5. I got promoted to the toddler twos teacher, worked in that classroom for 2 years. I learned how to change diapers and teach potty training. I worked with a ratio of 14 children and 2 teachers. Then I got promoted the preschool lead teacher ages 3 and 4 years old! This classroom was a 20:2 ratio. In that classroom I learned how to write age appropriate lesson plans that focus on fine and gross motor skills, math and sicence expoloration and literacy development! My strengths in child care would definitely be empathy and understanding the children. I enjoy taking my time with students so they can understand how to improve both social and emotional skills. I also really enjoy doing art and crafts! A big part of my passion is helping children find their creativity and imagination through art.
