Hi! My name is Erin and I am a kindergarten teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools. I have taught in the county for 3 years and received the outstanding new teacher of the year award in 2019. In the summers I nanny for a family 3 days a week, which leaves me with the opportunity to tutor or help out with part-time childcare on my two days off. I am looking to tutor or provide childcare to a few families this summer on the days that I am not nannying. As a kindergarten teacher I have a lot of knowledge on what incoming kindergarten students should know, as well as where rising first graders should be and how to get them there! I have multiple trainings for working with emergent readers. My certification is PreK-6, so I am also open to working with students outside the K-2 range!
