About Erin

I have developed long term relationships with several families as a caretaker for their children. In one position as a caretaker for foster children who are deaf and developmentally delayed, I recognized the fulfillment I gain engaging with young learners in ways that consistently support creativity and development. In previous positions, I assisted with potty training, bottle feeding, transportation to activities and appointments, household chores. I graduated from Georgia State University this May with a B. A. in Psychology and a minor in Deaf Studies where I learned American Sign Language. I participated in the Comparative Intelligence and Cognition Lab, assessing children's cognitive development through visuospatial tasks. This position strengthened my commitment to studying child development and caregiving. I am CPR and First Aid certified and references are available upon request.
