About Erin

Certified Kindergarten Teacher with over 20 years experience. I'm looking for a summer position in which I can combine my love of teaching and outdoors, and of course children! I'd describe my personality as kind, calm, thoughtful I like working with kids because they are full of wonder. They are genuinely enthusiastic about life and learning and are open to fun experiences. In my spare time, I like to run, exercise, cook vegan food, bake, travel, do yard work, read, and be outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my own (almost grown!) children too. One thing you should know about me is if I work with your child, it will be an environment where learning is naturally. I would want to balance that with some good old fashioned outdoor fun. I do not believe children should spend time of devices. My skills include understanding children, being able to communicate with children, and developing a rapport with them, naturally.
