About Erykah

Growing up, I spent a lot of time taking care of my nephew, shaping my dedication to childcare. I was an afterschool volunteer for elementary students at the beginning of high school, including tutoring and play. Later, I was a teaching assistant and aided in the instruction of students with special needs. I have nannied for multiple families, most with a child needing special care. This included going on trips, practicing speech, monitoring health, and playtime. I have also completed a full-time math tutor job for grades 2 through 6. Later, I worked as a full-time home school teacher, as well as occasional tutoring. I am very passionate about my work in childcare and have grown great bonds with all I have worked with-- both parents and children alike. I worked for 6 months as an HHA for elders. During this time I received a lot of disability and safety training and expanded my comforts. Currently, I am a behavioral technician at a school for autism and looking for part time work!
