About Eva

Hi families! My name is Eva, and I'm a preschool teacher at a play based preschool in Oakland. I have been teaching for five years and love connecting with children and building on their interests in my work. I am nurturing, compassionate, and responsive with my students and really prioritize children's feelings and building self-esteem. I believe children to be incredibly capable and my favorite part of my work is watching children grow and learn. I am First Aid/CPR certified, up to date with all my vaccinations, have a clean driving record, and my own transportation. I am currently available for afterschool care or the occasional evening or weekly date-night care. Can do light housework, make dinner/school lunch, plan developmentally appropriate activities, do light pet care, and am here to help with anything that your family may need! I look forward to chatting with you and learning more about your family & childcare needs.
