My professional guidelines are straightforward: Availability: Monday through Friday only, up to 8 hour afternoon/evening shifts. Saturday and Sunday is closed for family. Payroll: Strictly on the books as a W2 employee via Care. com HomePay or an equivalent household payroll service. If you choose cash please keep in mind the 15. 3% tax I will be responsible for. Rates: 25 per hour with a 4 hour daily minimum 100 per day. Overnights are 30 per hour. I keep secure daily records and provide copies weekly.
