Home Care Assistant: I assist residents with ADL, Activities of Daily Living, i. e. bathing, toileting, eating, dressing, etc.. Clean up & wash dishes after meals. I assist clients with transfer, ambulation & light exercises. Perform housekeeping chores; such as laundry and vacuuming. Follow care plan, complete records & documentation accurately. I've performed skill as would be in a nursing home & hospital setting. I learned all privacy procedures. I learned ambulation & use of transfer belt & bedpan. I learned how to count & record radial pulse & respirations. I performed passive range of motion. I learned how to measure & record urinary output, blood pressure, weight of ambulatory client & how to transfer from bed to wheelchair using transfer belt. I Learned peri-care, mouth care, making of an occupied bed, feeding, dressing, cleaning. Work History: Hope 10 years. I worked at visiting Angels for 10 years. I'm also CPR certified .
