About Fatoumata

I have experience working as a Home Health Aide, where I've cared for clients in their homes with patience, compassion, and respect. In my role, I've helped individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing meals that meet their dietary needs. I'm familiar with checking vital signs, assisting with medication reminders, and reporting any changes in a client's condition to nurses or family members. One of the most meaningful parts of my work has been offering emotional support and companionship, especially for clients who live alone or deal with memory loss. I've worked with patients who have dementia or Alzheimer's, and I've learned how important it is to remain calm, reassuring, and understanding. I also help maintain a clean and safe home environment by doing light housekeeping and supporting clients with mobility, including transferring and walking.
