I'd love to provide occasional babysitting for a family with an infant- I have newborn and infant experience! My rate is $20/hour. I live in downtown Saratoga. My experience inside and outside the classroom has deepened my understanding of children's needs. Before teaching special education, I worked as a live-in and live-out nanny for a family with three children. Currently, I'm taking a break from the classroom to pursue other passions while staying connected to children through babysitting, tutoring, and volunteering. I am CPR certified, drive a reliable CRV, and can provide references outside of Care. com. I prefer a screen-free environment while caring for children and keep my phone away, except for essential parent communication and kid-friendly music on Spotify. I work full time selling software (quite the turn from teaching, I know!) and still babysit part time because I truly enjoy children and being connected with families.
