About Frances

I am a former Art & English teacher with a passion for helping kids unlock their creativity, motivation and inspiration. I have 10+ years experience working with children and college students, including children with disabilities and English Language Learners. I believe in clear and open communication with parents, ensuring their peace of mind while their child is in my care. I use humor and (developmentally appropriate) respect to connect with kiddos in my care, and I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to create a safe and structured environment. I believe this balance allows children to enjoy their time with me, but also feel safe and understand what is expected of them. With my early child development coursework and teaching experience I'm well-equipped to handle any situation, and would love to learn more about your family's needs.
