About Gabrielle

I am deeply passionate about childhood development and education. I am a current graduate student of Creative Writing at NYU, though these classes only meet a total of twice a week. I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Creative Writing from Columbia University. I was nominated for a university-wide award for my research into feminist political theory. I also have published legal research and multiple pieces of poetry. I have worked as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, and camp counselor, with a combined experience of over 5 years. I also was a lifeguard for 2 years, so I have training in first aid and CPR. For the past year, I have worked as a 7th grade English teacher and art instructor. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, witty, and bright. I am also fluent in Spanish. In my spare time, I like to go to museums and galleries. I love the theatre and ballet. I enjoy seeing any live music, particularly jazz. I am an avid reader and love the crossword.
