I was a licensed CNA for 20 yrs. My license lapsed when I took some time off to help with a family business. I went back to my love of caring for elderly and disabled two years ago, now as a home health aide as I did not renew my CNA. I love what I do and bringing smiles and comfort to my clients, in addition I love to cook! I also look for ways to engage my clients whether it be in conversation, looking at old photos, music low impact exercises.. well basically tapping into my clients interests. My main goal is to be a bright spot in my clients life at whatever level of need they're at in life. I have taken classes specifically for dementia care and have years of experience with this population in addition I am up to date with my CPR certification.
