About Geneva

Hello, my name is Geneva ("Genny"). I absolutely love caring for children of all ages and abilities, happily doing so for the past 12+ years (while pursuing my high school and university/grad school studies full-time). I became a certified SuperSitter, a childcare provider with extra training to care for children with special needs, through Parent to Parent in 2011. I regularly cared for groups of children with a variety of special needs at Parent to Parent and The ARC meetings/events until 2018. I've also worked for individual families caring for children both with and without special needs from 2010 to the present. There is nothing I enjoy more than engaging with children in creative and imaginative play, and I always look for opportunities for learning. I encourage a range of enriching activities (reading together, outdoor time, etc.). I have experience tutoring reading and early math. I am extremely COVID-cautious, vaccinated and boosted, and always double-masked.
