Hi, I'm Gennessa! I've been caring for children for over 20 years, starting as a babysitter at age 13. I have experience with children from newborn through 12 years old and love creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for them. I do not have children of my own, but I truly enjoy being around kids and building great relationships with the families I work with! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development and completed graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis, focused on behavior and autism. I spent 8 years working professionally with children and adolescents with autism and other co-occurring conditions, supporting learners from 18 months to 16 years old. Today I work full time at UW-Green Bay as a Program Coordinator in the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training, but I still enjoy helping families by providing dependable, thoughtful childcare when needed!

Gennessa is an amazing sitter. Our son was so happy with her for the week she recently watched him. He would even cry when he saw her leaving for the day! She communicated when there was questions and quickly responded if i checked in on how things were going. I look forward to having Gennessa watch our son again, in the future!
