About Gillian

I am a caregiver who started babysitting at age 9 and later began professionally nannying. I am a deeply compassionate and empathetic person who has a passion for helping others, especially children and animals. I pride myself on my patience as well as my ability to make others feel comfortable, even in the most difficult situations. It is of the utmost importance to me that every human being is given the grace and respect that we all deserve regardless of demographic. I also consider myself an advocate for mental health and I have a Bachelor's in psychology. If I had to choose a motto for my views on caregiving, it would be: "They are not giving you a hard time, they are having a hard time." I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ families, children on the autism spectrum, and children with ADHD or other mental health disorders. I am currently studying to become a Postpartum Doula and plan to eventually become a certified newborn and infant professional. I also speak Spanish.
