About Gillian

I am a senior at the UNH studying human development and family studies with a minor in child life, I also played D1 field hockey there! I started babysitting when I was 15 and have babysat triplets, children from 3 mo. to 12 yo, children with autism, and children with ADHD. My goal is to become a child life specialist, helping ease stress and anxiety in the healthcare setting through developmentally appropriate play and activities. This fall I was a practicum student at Wentworth Douglas hospital where I worked throughout the hospital with focused in the NICU. I am applying for child life programs to complete my hours in the fall however it is a competitive program. I want to work with a family consistently throughout the summer. The hours and education I've completed for my profession has allowed me to gain a lot of insight on how to care for children. I have a lot of experience with different families and children, and always have fun!
