I have 7 yrs of hands-on experience, my in-laws moved in with my husband and 2 kids 7 yrs ago, caregiving quickly became an important part of my daily life. I was an assistant caregiver to my father-in-law, who had dementia, until he passed away in Sept 26. This taught me the importance of patience, understanding, consistency, and treating every person with dignity and respect. I am currently a caregiver for my mother-in-law, assisting her with her daily needs and providing support, companionship, and a safe and environment. I'm looking to provide caregiving support to another individual while continuing to care for her. I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for a loved one requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'm patient, attentive, compassionate, and willing to help with companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and other everyday caregiving needs. I want the person I care for to feel respected, comfortable, heard, and valued.
