About Giovanna

Hi! In high school I took 2 years of teacher training. During that time I got the opportunity to become a teacher assistant, 1 year for 3rd graders and the 2nd year for 5th graders. There I got to learn hands-on how to work with 'older' children, how to discipline them if needed, and how to keep them engaged/entertained. Following my high school graduation, I took a year abroad and became an "au pair"- full-time nanny. I loved this job very much because I got to spend a lot of quality time with the 2 girls (2 yr/old, 11 yr/old with severe disabilities) I took care of but also learned many new skills. There I learned how to change diapers, feed them, bathe them, put them to bed, etc. Through care, I also got hired as a nanny for 2 boys- 5 y/o and 1 y/o. Through this job I gained more experience taking care of babies- feeding, bathing, changing Overall I find it very enjoyable taking care of children and would love to help out your family!
