About Glen

Hello, my name is Glen and I live in Glen Ellyn. (The name is a coincidence). I have experience teaching STEM subjects at middle and high school level and tutoring students attending post-secondary schools. I also have experience working as a teaching assistant for students with special needs and experience as a House Lead and Direct Service Provider at Community Integrated Living Arrangements with adults with developmental disabilities. I'm a big fan of cycling and cross-country skiing. I do both sports year round (skis can have wheels too) and compete in amateur events. I build and maintain my own bicycles and can repair a family's bikes and/or instruct in basic bicycle mechanics. I'm also a practitioner of hand-tool woodworking (no power tools) using traditional hand tools and joinery to produce fine wood crafts and cabinetry. I can offer basic woodworking instruction and help produce simple projects.
