I enjoy spending time with seniors and developing a relationship with them. I have experience working as a companion for clients with conditions, including Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, depression, and general age-related challenges. I love engaging in conversation and developing comfortable connections with my clients. Whenever possible, I encourage light activity such as walks or a drive, as I believe a change of scenery can make a big difference in someone's day and outlook. I accompany clients on errands, helping them stay active and engaged at whatever level is comfortable for them. I tend to think of my clients more as a new friend under my watchful eye rather than just as a "client." I understand that welcoming someone into your home after a lifetime of independence can be an adjustment, so I strive to provide support in a way that feels respectful, comfortable, and most of all non-intrusive. I am available for a few hours each day.
