About Griselda

My name is Griselda, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education while working as a behavioral aide for the Colton Joint Unified School District. In my current role, I support students with mild-to-severe special needs. My lifelong passion for working with children began at an early age as the youngest of 10 siblings. Caring for my family and playing an active role in the lives of my 35 nieces and nephews deeply shaped my character, instilling in me profound patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. This early experience ultimately ignited my desire to dedicate my professional life to education and child advocacy. I am deeply committed to nurturing the growth and well-being of students across all age groups. My dedication, strong behavioral management skills, and gentle, individual-centered approach are strongly attested to by reference letters from both past and current educators with whom I have had the privilege to work with.
