I am currently seeking a part-time, overnight position with an individual (preferably senior) or married couple. I worked with seniors in long-term care and one-on-one over a year and a half as a CNA/HHLTC aide in various medical settings. I continued as a nurse for at least 10 years. I consider myself an old soul, and get along with individuals of all ages. At this point in my career I prefer a personal setting with the patient/client. I like the wisdom of an elderly individual and do not mind that they may be currently having Alzheimer's or dementia issues. I give my best at all times and treat others with empathy and respect based on their current needs. My caregiving career began after caring for my mom following her stroke over 26 yrs. ago.
