I have about 10 years experience in childcare. I worked at Nature Center Preschool right after graduating from Umass Boston. It is a nature school with a child-led curriculum and their values of prioritizing outdoor natural play and social-emotional learning first really resonate with me. After my daughter was born I decided to go back to school to become a nurse. I'm in the process now but it is a slow one as I would like to be able to spend as much time with V. as possible. So I have decided to dip back into nannying to get some sort of balance of that and earning a bit of money through more school years. My ideal situation would be a nannying position that benefits both our families in that way. Mine loves playing with other kids and babies, and we spend so much time doing community activities for littles, it just makes sense to look for a family who may benefit from their little ones joining us when I'm able to take it on.
