About Halima

Hi, my name is Halima. I'm a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at a pediatric therapy clinic for children with autism and other developmental needs, ages 2-12. I also work as a program coordinator at GEM Academy, supporting hands-on lesson planning for special needs students, and I tutor students of various ages in reading, writing, and math, regularly creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons and games. Alongside this, I'm studying Speech-Language Pathology and Child Development at UTD, which has given me a deeper understanding of how children learn and communicate, a combination that's shaped my ability to adapt to different learning styles and age groups!
