About Halli

I am skilled in English language and literature, writing, editing, teaching, and communications. I tutor students in various styles of writing: professional writing, academic writing, literary analysis, creative writing, and non-fiction narrative writing. I help students of all ages develop stronger reading comprehension and communication skills. I am committed to helping students adapt to virtual and hybrid learning, providing skills and strategies for them to master curriculum content whether they are at home or in the classroom. I also have a background in psychology, sociology, history, and art. I believe that by fostering curiosity, motivation, and sound executive functioning skills, I can help students and parents navigate the changing educational landscape. I have prior experience tutoring elementary school students in reading comprehension, as well as tutoring high school students in English, rhetoric, and creative writing.
