About Hana

Hi there! My name is Hana. I currently a part-time student, taking pre-requisite courses for graduate school. I value learning and having fun! In my free time, I enjoy making healthy meals and going hiking. Previously, I have taught swimming lessons to ages 2-18. It's incredibly rewarding to engage a child in a lifelong recreational activity and potential life saving skill. I have First-Aid, CPR, and Wilderness First-Responder training. I'd love to help your child learn species identification of local flora and fauna for marine/terrestrial environments. I am familiar with Common CORE mathematics and have tutoring experience up to the 5th grade level. During the pandemic, I was a virtual educator. I taught online lessons from 3rd-12th grade. I love watching children grow and learn, while also creating space for fun and silliness :) I strive for a balanced, healthy environment with clear communication and consistency. Childhood is a precious time! I'll be sure to snap a photo or two
