About Hannah

I am currently employed and I will update my profile when the children I am caring for have outgrown the need for a nanny. Thank you. I have a great passion for working with children. Caring for children has been one of the greatest pleasures of my life. I worked at the Childcare Center in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. My position was in the infants room which was ages 6 weeks to about 1 year old. When I moved to the Lansing area, I cared for 2 children for three and a half years. At the start of my employment they were ages 1 1/2 and 3 years old. I cared for them until they were both in school full time and were no longer in need of a nanny. I have been CPR certified and completed additional training classes with Child Advocacy. Before being employed in childcare, I worked with the elderly for five years as a adult care provider and certified nurses aide (CNA). The positions I held there taught me increased patience, compassion, and understanding of how to care for those that cannot always tell you what they need. My years of babysitting have also given me great experience with children. I've cared for twins; one of which was a special needs child. I have also traveled with a family from the daycare center to provide child care on their vacation.
