About Hannah

I have been a special education teacher for 13 years (6 years in Elementary school and 7 in high school). I am interested in utilizing my skills this summer as a babysitter/nanny/tutor--whatever is needed from me! I love working with kiddos of all ages and I have experience with all kinds of behaviors. I am creative, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to different kinds of needs. While building connections with kids is super important to me, I think my greatest strength is helping a child realize their self-worth. I'd describe my personality as warm, respectful, playful, and creative. I started working with kids when I was in high school through various babysitting jobs and then in college as a camp counselor. I started teaching right after college and I haven't stopped! In my spare time, I like to read, work out, solve crossword puzzles, and make pottery!
