About Hannah

I'd describe my personality as creative, attuned, and deeply respectful of children's processes. Children are my favorite teachers; they show me the wisdom and possibility in the mundane and approach new experiences with a receptivity and curiosity that adults can learn from. I'm looking for a job with opportunities for creative exploration and informal inquiry-based learning, where I can bring my years of experience as a teacher in Reggio Emilia settings (especially) and Montessori (secondarily). Happy to tutor kids in grades pk-5th in some capacity! I started working with kids 15 years ago. I've taught in preschools and grade schools of all kinds, but especially Reggio-inspired settings -- and have nannied 2 families, obtained a masters in ECE, worked as an art teacher and helped establish a nonprofit preschool. In my spare time, I make art and music, enjoy gardening and bodies of water, and stitch.
