I like working with kids because I thoroughly enjoy seeing how each child's mind works differently, and their individual perception of the world. It is such a privilege to play even a tiny role in the upbringing of a child. I know exactly how parents and guardians would expect their loved ones to be cared for! Trust and reliability are key when caring for others. I started working with kids at a very young age. My grandmother was a teacher assistant in a severe and profound special needs classroom. By the time I started college, I knew that I wanted to broaden my knowledge and experience of learning to care for special needs individuals, ranging from toddler age to geriatric. My skills include finding creative ways to engage your child, redirect or transform routines or difficult behaviors, and educate through every aspect of life.
