About Hannah

We had a deeply disappointing experience with Hannah. We had a great phone call and introductory childcare session regarding arranging one month of nannying and our child absolutely loved her. She ended up calling out sick for her first two days (understandable), then worked three days and then called out sick for the entire next week (things happen). I texted her confirming our plan for the following week, which she didn't respond to until Monday when with less than 24 hours notice told us that she wanted to take a break before going back to her other job and wouldn't be coming her final week at all. No apology or deeper explanation. I felt terrible that I told my 5 year old child day after day he would get to see her and then had to let him know each day that she actually wasn't coming, only to finally tell him she wouldn't be coming again at all. If we'd known she didnt want the job, we would have found someone new but instead we dealt with the unexpected burden each day because we assumed she'd be back. I messaged Hannah to ask if there was something about the situation with us that didn't work for her so that we could do better in the future, or to set better expectations for our caregivers if she found something difficult, and she just ghosted me and still has not responded.
