About Hannah

As the oldest daughter in a family of 7 children, childcare is something I fell into naturally. I spent my afternoons and summers teaching my little brothers to read, write, ride bikes and play all sorts of silly games to keep them entertained. After high school, I worked at a sleep away camp for 1. 5 years - there I worked with children from age 4 to 18 as a senior camp counselor. I led groups of up to 8 children on a variety of activities, my favorite being the guided educational hike to the waterfall. After that, I was a live in au pair for 2 years to 2 separate families. I was with the children for 9 hours a day, driving them to school and activities, drawing pictures for them to color, teaching them to read, write, swim and ice skate. I had a huge amount of training in both jobs for first and and CPR, but am more than happy to refresh my knowledge should that be something you'd like! I moved back to RI after graduating, and I look forward to connecting!
