I have several years of international childcare and au pair experience in South Africa, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States. Caring for children across different cultures has made me adaptable, patient, dependable, and confident in joining different family routines. I have experience with daily routines, meal preparation, educational activities, outings, reading, crafts, play, and encouraging independence. I also have experience caring for a child with autism, which has strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of supporting each child according to their individual needs.
