About Heather

I like working with kids because every day is different and I genuinely love seeing their eyes light up when they have a new experience or learn something exciting. I started working with kids when I was a teenager and I helped in the nursery and in the toddler classroom at my church. I worked in a childcare center as I was going through college. I enjoyed it so much that I made it my career and have over 20 years of experience! My skills include providing engaging and fun activities for children of all ages. I also have a strong understanding of both social/emotional and cognitive development in children. I build strong, safe, and caring relationships with parents, children, and families.
