About Heather

I have experience with family in different stages of dementia, Parkinson's, cancer and the aging process. Naturally, I have an empathetic, compassionate personality. When taking on new clients, their safety and comfort are my main concerns. My training consists of dementia, Parkinson's, gait belt, bathing/dressing, transferring clients, transporting. I have a Masters degree and am currently seeking my CNA to refine my skills. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, attentive, and thoughtful. I like caring for seniors because they are a vulnerable population that is in need to quality care. I'm looking for a job that will fit my personality as well as the clients needs. I started caring for seniors when my mother was diagnosed with dementia. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time w my adult children, go to church, time with friends. One thing you should know about me is I have lots of energy. My skills include pleasant conversation, meal prep and safety skills.
