I am a mother of three, ages 12 years, 18 years and 20 years. I am a stay-at-home mom looking to provide care for children of any age from my home or from your home. Currently I am a nanny for a family for the past five years providing care from their home. I started with them when their first son was born and now I am caring for his younger sister. I'm looking now to start with a new family on or around June 1, 2026 as the baby I'm currently watching will be starting school at that time. I'm very skilled at supervising activities of children of different ages, while providing them with ongoing care in a safe environment. She’s reliable, consistent, and really understands how to keep kids on a good routine, which made a big difference for us. At the same time, she kept both kids engaged with thoughtful, age-appropriate activities and always found ways to make the day fun.

As a mom of three school-aged boys herself, she isn’t phased by much, and handles the craziness of handling multiple kids with ease regardless of what the day throws at her.

We also fully trusted her to drive our toddler to things like library classes and outings—something we didn’t take lightly—and she handled it all safely and responsibly.

More than anything, Heather is warm, affectionate, and genuinely cares about the kids she looks after. She became someone our kids were excited to see every day.

When Heather first asked us to draft her a review, we said “absolutely!” As I started to think about what to write, I realized I don’t even know where to begin. How do you write a referral for someone who’s been such an irreplaceable part of your family for over four years?

We first met Heather through Care in December of 2018 when we were looking for a full time nanny after having our first child. My husband and I both have our own businesses, work a ton of hours and do not have flexibility in our schedules. Heather has been beyond reliable over the past 4+ years. She’s never late and maybe called out once. Heather provides plenty of notice before taking off and makes it a priority to ensure we’re able to find coverage so we’re never stuck. On a few situations when we had work/travel emergencies, Heather went way above and beyond, by taking our child/children to her own house until very late at night or even the next day. 

Heather is raising three beautiful boys herself, so she’s well seasoned. Additionally, we love that she treats our kids like her own, and they love her like a second mom. She has an exorbitant amount of experience and energy taking care of her own kids 24/7 for almost 20 years, then running a daycare out of her house for years before watching our kids. Heather is very knowledgeable and always gives great advice, but at the same time respects how we chose to raise our kids and follows any guidelines/direction we outline. She has had to deal with several health issues and emergencies with children (including caring for a child that used to frequently have seizures), so I know she wouldn’t freeze if anything was to ever happen with my kids. I know my kids are safe with her at all times. That type of peace of mind is truly priceless.

I had such an incredibly hard time initially finding someone to join our family, we must have had 20+ interviews. And the majority of those individuals were unreliable and flakey. Looking back, everything happens for a reason. I feel we found the most incredible person ever and know any family she works with in the future will be extremely fortunate as well. 


Heather has provided exceptional care for my babies. She has looked after my twins (a  boy and a girl) since they were 8 months old. My babies look forward to going to her place and welcome her with a beaming smile. Heather provides constant text and picture updates about their feeding, napping, and other activities. Her house is huge with a designated play area and several toys giving my babies lots of variety to keep them engaged. As a parent, I have always felt relieved after dropping off my twins at her place. Heather is very efficient and her genuine affection for kids is apparent. Her presence gives me the peace of mind I need to go about my work. 

Heather has been watching my almost 2 year old son for about 6 months and she has been a great fit for my family.  I recently moved to the area and feel so lucky to have found someone I trust to care for him.  My son is always happy to be there when he is dropped off in the morning.  Unlike other sitters I have used, she always provides pictures and text updates throughout the day.  My son is with her part time and she has always been extremely flexible with scheduling and easy to communicate with. She has a large, beautiful home with lots of toys and a large gated playroom for the little ones.  She is warm, affectionate, kind & fun, and has a great relationship with and has been an excellent caregiver to my son.  I would highly recommend her! 

I would give Heather more than 7 stars if I could. We have a three months boy currently babysat by Heather. She constantly gives us the update and pictures. She is very friendly and willing to answer any questions we have. She is amazing when it comes to caring for our baby. We are very lucky to have her. I usually don't give review to anyone. I hope other families would the same peace of mind like we do. 

Heather has been caring for our 19 month old daughter since I returned to work when she was 14 weeks old.  Her home is clean and spacious with lots of toys.  Heather has a gated playroom, but also lets our daughter (safely) run and explore.  Our little one loves being at Heather's and never wants to leave in the evening.  Heather is warm, affectionate, and an experienced mom who can quickly spot issues (diaper rash, fever) which has proved helpful.  She has been a perfect fit for us.  It's much easier going to work knowing our daughter is happy and in such good hands. 

Heather has been watching my 19-month-old son since he was just 5 months old. My son absolutely loves Heather and doesn't want to leave when it's time to pick him up! He has so much fun playing with all her toys and running around her large home. Most importantly, Heather is warm, patient, and nurturing. My son has a lot of energy and has never been an easy sleeper. From the beginning, she would let him fall asleep in her arms and comfort him. It's clear that she loves kids and genuinely enjoys their energy. I also appreciate that she texts us photos and updates throughout the day. It meant the world to me when I was first going back to work and it was so tough to leave my little guy. I feel lucky to have found her!

Heather was great!  I have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old.  My husband and I have not left our children with anyone since they have been born.  Heather helped us to relax and made the whole process super easy.  We met her one evening and then did a trial run one afternoon.  After that it was easy for my 2 1/2 yr old who has separation anxiety. She was excited to go back to Heather's house.  She's a mom herself of 3 adorable, well behaved boys.
I cant say enough nice things about Heather.  She has a nice home that is spacious, super clean, & her kids have awesome toys-bonus!  She kept us well informed and communicated their progress throughout the day via phone, text, and even sent us photos of our kids having fun.  
I will totally use Heather again and would recommend her to everyone... She's just great!

Heather watched our son for about 9 months.  She is extraordinarily flexible, and has never said "no", even if it was with rather short notice.  She has a lovely home, tons of toys for the kids to play with, and showed herself to be very caring towards our child.    She even help our child with potty training.  I highly recommend her.

Heather watched my two young children for a few days at her home with short notice. She was very kind and accommodating to them and her house was very kid-friendly. She really cared for my children and they had a great experience. My son and daughter normally cry a little when I drop them off, but they didn't shed a tear and had a great time. I highly recommend Heather.

I have known Heather professionally for over 7 years. She has always demonstrated responsibility, care, and compassion in all that she does. Heather is great with children and has three beautiful boys of her own.
