About Heather

I am an LVN/LPN. I graduated nursing school in 2010. I absolutely love working with all children, as well as the elderly. My whole life has been spent working in special needs classrooms, hospitals, doctors offices, and patients homes (providing hospice and respite care). I love teaching all subjects, and continue to broaden my knowledge daily. I home-schooled all three of my children. My 12-year-old now attends a gifted school here in town, and my two boys are both in college. I think learning should be fun and not monotonous. I love being outdoors, going on walks, and soaking up the sun. I am a pretty good cook and keep a tidy house, so I can assist with that as well. I'm originally from California, but my husband has been in the Military for 28 years now, so we have moved a lot. We plan on him retiring here, so we bought a home and plan to stay and put down some roots. I do charge between $25-$30 an hour. for some reason I can't get the amount charged to reflect that.
