Read on the beach or even close those eyes in the back of your head for a while. Stay in the sun as long as you like and leave everything else up to me. I'm experienced with multifamily groups of "many" children and with children of all ages & temperaments: those ready to comb miles of beach for shells and shark's teeth or make the biggest sand castle in the whole wide world, those who want to navigate the 11 mile lagoon in kayaks or hit the bike trails & even those who really just need to watch their favorite Thomas the Train episode One! More! Time!

Heather is incredible!!! She watched our 1 and 2 year old children while we were on vacation for a wedding and she totally exceeded expectations! She is very trustworthy, excellent with children, very experienced, and so kind! We highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter in Hilton Head! :)

Heather did such a wonderful job watching our 4 kids (ages 18mo-7yr). She was professional, friendly, and so comfortable with them right away. She brought games and toys with her and went above and beyond in tidying up after they all went to bed. We truly got to enjoy our evening thanks to Heather and would love to hire her again if we are back in town. Highly recommend!

Heather babysat 2 evenings for our 6 month old son while we were on vacation in Hilton Head. She was easy to communicate with, punctual, and kind. She entertained our son, gave him a bottle, and put him to sleep. She was able to go with the flow and adjust as needed when he wasn't following his typical routine. She texted me throughout the night with updates which was a pleasant surprise. Our son slept through both nights she put him to bed and was happy in the morning. Heather was friendly, fun to talk to, and gave us insight about the island as well. I would recommend Heather to anyone in the area!

Heather is awesome! She helped us almost daily on our trip to Hilton Head with our four children under four - and handled them with total grace and care! Like a jedi master, we couldn't believe it. Heather is superbly capable and trustworthy and just plain likeable. Took great notes, has a good attitude, has the experience of being a mother herself, was always on time. I can't think of anything that wasn't superbly awesome about Heather!

I hired Heather for the week during a  Hilton Head vacation in March to watch over my young son.  My son took to her immediately.  She came daily and he was excited to see her.  She would take him to the park, engage him with stories about sharks and even brought him a shark tooth as a follow-up to the story! Heather is reliable, responsive and nurturing.  I was never concerned for my son's safety and I felt he was well cared for while I was playing tennis!  Thank you Heather, we hope to see you again on our next visit to Hilton Head.

Heather did an amazing job caring for our 18 year old son while we attended a wedding. Our son bonded with her right away. She was very attentive and sent us updates through out the night. I am so thankful that we hired Heather and definitely plan to hire her again if we return to Hilton Head.

Heather was great! She looked after 3 kids (3.5, 1.5 and 8 months) on 2 occasions. She managed dinner and bedtime routines with no issues - and took the kids to the playground on another occasion. She even cleaned our entire kitchen and did the kids' laundry after they had fallen asleep. We would definitely recommend her!

We had Heather babysit (3 couples with 4 children including 2 10 month twins and 2 others under 2) and were very happy to have someone with lot of experience with multiple young children (as she has lots of children herself!). The children were asleep the majority of the time we were out but all of the moms felt extremely comfortable with Heather's ability to tend to them if they woke. She arrived early and we had plenty of time to talk about details/she texted us promptly if one of the babies rustled (as we requested) - we were very happy with her and would absolutely hire again if we take another vacation in the area!

We (three families with a total of 5 kids ages 2.5 to 11 (three of them under 4) hired Heather to look after our kids so we could enjoy an adults-only dinner in the midst of our summer vacation in Hilton Head. She arrived promptly and the kids were comfortable with her very quickly, and all said they had a great time and that she was nice : )
We are hoping to have her watch the kids again this year.

Heather was amazing with our 6 kids!  We were in Hilton Head for our kids spring break and I interviewed/spoke with Heather prior to our trip and she was very responsive and had a lot of good tips to give since she is from the area (even the location where we rented the house).
We used Heather in the evenings and during the day. She cared for 6 kids (2 twin boys that are 7, 4 girls ages 4, 6, 7 and 9 years old.  She came with things to do and participated in games with the kids.  

After the first night the kids were already asking when she would be back and by the end of our trip they were making her gifts and wanted to buy things to give her when we were out and about shopping.  It was great to see how quickly she and the kids bonded and we felt very comfortable with her from the start too -3 moms/families.  If we needed to reach her while we were out she was very responsive in texting us back.

I would recommend Heather for anyone looking for a great sitter while in Hilton Head!!

We hired Heather for our 15 month old while on vacation.  Our LO foiled my plan of going to sleep before Heather's arrival but she calmed him down and got him to sleep and my husband and I were able to enjoy a nice dinner out.  Would certainly hire Heather again!

We hired Heather to watch our 2 kids, ages 7 and 4, while we were on vacation in Hilton Head.  She was quick to return emails and texts, showed up right on time and most importantly, had a great rapport with our kids.  She taught them a bunch of things about the local wildlife and they had a blast.  Would call her again in a heartbeat.

My best friend and I hired Heather three times during our week vacation in Hilton Head, June 10-17th. She conquered our entire crew of an eight year old, two three year old children, a one year old and twin 11 month babies. My friend and I left for the evening and didn't feel the need to worry, or stress. It was a sense of ease when Heather walked in, we knew she could handle the situation. Not only did she handle it, she executed it amazingly. Everyone was in bed, sound and peaceful every time we returned. She battled whatever battles they may had thrown her way, but we didn't hear one complaint or receive one text of doubt from her. My girlfriend and I joked that she probably did it better then we know how. 

So, my friend and I have said many times since... we truly wish that Heather Poppins lived closer to us here in Tennessee; She is truly amazing.

We hired heather to watch our 3 children (4, 2, & 9 months) while at a wedding in Hilton head. She was fabulous and exceeded expectations! we rarely hire sitters so I was nervous about finding one on vacation, especially since the baby is almost exclusively breast-fed. She did an amazing job, entertained the kids, fed dinner, and even washed and folded their clothes!  I would absolutely hire her again! 

Heather is professional and prompt. She's really easy to communicate with and responds in a timely manner. I would 100% refer her as a wonderful caregiver. 

Heather stayed with my son while my spouse and I went away for 5 days and he seemed to love her! She emailed us to keep us up to speed on how he was doing and allowed us to FaceTime him. Overall a great experience and would definitely use her again for future overnights, etc.

Heather was a fantastic choice for watching our 2 young kiddos while we were on vacation so my husband and I could go on a date night. I was nervous having someone who I didn't know care for our kids, but Heather's professionalism, honesty, and clearly caring personality put not only myself but my children at ease. They instantly took to her and were nothing but smiles when we headed out. She gave us two simple text message updates that bedtime went well, and then even cleaned and organized our kitchen for us! She really goes above and beyond, I only wish she lived closer so she could be a regular babysitter! I highly recommend Heather for your babysitting needs.
