About Heather

I have been my sisters nanny in the past as well as taken care of an adult who is Deaf and has Cerebral Palsy, I was a live in caregiver for him for 10 years. I know some ASL although I need to take more classes to refresh my skills. I'm great with seniors and kids both. I love to listen to their stories, I'm pretty good with technology so I can help them with the computer and their phones or cable, etc. They need good people that really care taking care of them and that really matters to me. I'm happy to provide respite care for anyone needing a break, for a night, weekend, or even longer. I do have a Saturday night job I am committed to so I need to be able to do that. I currently drive for Lyft so my schedule is very flexible. I cannot physically lift a patient though. I am an amputee and use crutches but that doesn't stop me from doing anything. I can do most things and can lift and carry quite a bit, I can help steady a patient and pull them up if they're not too heavy.
