A little about me, I grew up in Hawaii and lived there until I was about 27. I am very in touch with nature and the environment and being barefoot whenever possible. I went to the University of Hawaii where I earned a BFA degree in traditional photography and printmaking. I'm currently studying to be an infant/toddler specialist. Right before the pandemic hit I was working at Barnes & Noble where I ran the children's department for 13 years. That is where I found my love for connecting with families. I ran weekly story times and often had groups of nannies and their charges in attendance. That is where I got the idea to change careers. I started working at Art Beast CDC about two and a half years ago and swiftly became the lead infant teacher. I managed a class of (up to) 12 infants under the age of two. Last winter the school closed indefinitely due to construction. I miss loving on the babies and watching their growth so here I am, ready to be your new family helper!

My 2-year old LOVES Heather! She was able to talk and bond with my little one when we met to get to know each other. She has proven experience with toddlers, and I was happy to learn that she has personal and work experience caring for infants. She saves the day when we need late night sitting. She was able to help wean our child of bedtime bottle feeding. She comes prepared with books and toys and learning activities. Overall just happy to find a sitter like Heather!
