About Heather

Hello! I have worked with children and teens for over 15 years in library settings after receiving my masters degree in library and information sciences with a focus in youth services. I took early education classes as well during my studies. Over the years, I have been lucky to work with children of all ages and have learned so much. From baby storytimes, to educational activities, to homework help, I have developed a passion for working with children and their parents. I am looking for a more engaging and flexible work environment that is closer to home. Since 2023 I have been working with several families privately, helping with newborns and preteens alike. I am a lover of all pets and look forward to helping out a great family.
