Hello, my name is Heather! I am 28 years old and graduated college. I am an audio engineer that is focused on making music, but I've always had a heart for children as well. I am looking to be a full time nanny. I've had lots of experience caring for children from 5months to around 15 years of age.
I have done 8 years of nannying, afterschool daycare, summer daycare, teachers aid, tutoring, being a reading buddy, and even coordinated summer daycare activities with my old elementary school! I have worked at an indoor slide park for children as well for my first jobs. Safety is my main concern for children! I love working with families on this app and providing the service they need. I am reliable, punctual, and a VERY dependable person. I love working as a team for the parents. What matters to me most is making sure the children that I care for are in good hands and happy! Heather helped us out this summer while I was recovering my from back surgery. My kids are 9, 13, and 15 so the child care needs were different than what she was used to. I know she usually works with younger kids, not teens, but she was great. She drove the kids to appointments and sport activities. No school runs because school was out, but lots of short trips to and from activities. She was very good with my 9 yo. (The older girls are pretty self-sufficient) but she would suggest art or science kits or legos to keep her engaged. She also handled laundry and cooking duties since I couldn’t lift anything. She has a very calm personality and is very creative. I enjoyed chatting with her during down times since I was there while she was working. I found that the days that worked best were the ones where I clearly communicated what I needed done and when. We had a google spreadsheet to organize that she could reference for schedules and addresses that helped a lot. Overall, it was great to have the help and she had good rapport with myself and the kids.

Heather nannied for my 5 month old baby girl. She helped with tummy time, reading, lots of outdoor play, and baby related activities. She would sing her to sleep it was so nice to watch. I’m thankful to have had her as a caregiver . We still keep in touch whenever we still need help for date nights since my child is in daycare now. Would recommend her to anyone!

Heather is a very kind and loving person. She took care of my grandkids when I was away at work and did a fabulous job. She also took them on field trips and always kept them safe and always was very punctual. Was like Another mother to my grandkids, I highly recommend her

My little girl has autism and we hired Heather a few months ago to help my child through summer transition. Heather helped with related tasks for her behavioral issues as well as worked on ABA tasks with her. She has improved so much with working with Heather. I wish we could have kept her but due to the sudden change of moving states, we had to say goodbye. I would recommend her to anyone ! 

Heather had taken care of my younger cousins when my aunt was in need of a babysitter. Heather was super reliable and helped even at the drop of a notice. She’s very professional and the kids loved her!

Heather did a great job taking care of my 5 year old. She was very attentive to his needs and his medical allergies, making sure to read the labels of everything before feeding him. My son didn't want her to leave because he had so much fun playing with her. Would definitely recommend to any parent looking for a caregiver

The first cancellation was only 1 and a half hours before our planned date night. It’s was disappointing because we hadn’t had a date in a long time, but we just brought our son. The second cancellation, was at 10:30 pm the night before a 6 am start time with no notice of these “personal issues” ahead of time. Not only did she cancel while I was sleeping for work, but cancelled the next day as well. Now I’m wide awake at 3 am stressing out. I would not recommend her to anyone. 

Heather and I chatted on the phone about our childcare post and she was awesome and seemed like a great fit! She was a great communicator, was responsive, was professional, and was very kind and thoughtful. She seemed like the type of person I would want to spend around as an adult (in addition to having a ton of childcare experience), which is always a plus for me. Our schedules ended up not fitting together; otherwise we definitely would have moved forward with an in-person interview. We hope to stay in touch in case she is available for more occasional childcare support!

She brings amazing energy to my family and will always be welcomed!

Hired her to take care of my nieces. They loved her! She was on time, super helpful, always went above and beyond in caring for them while my aunt was at work. Highly recommend hiring her!
