About Heather

I have worked with children as early as the age of four months. I have spent about a year working at a early childhood daycare. In addition to that, I have received my teaching license in early childhood education. I have I completed my student teaching in a kindergarten class and in a first grade class full time. Last year I taught kindergarten at a charter school in Lawrence Massachusetts. I just completed a full year as a specialist for grades k-8 at the public schools. However, due to a budget crisis, many positions have been cut from the district including mine. I love helping children learn and grow and would like to continue doing so even though I am taking a year of from teaching in a school setting.
