About Heather

Hello! I am a Nanny. I am looking for a wonderful family to work with. My name is Heather. I worked in childcare since 2008 at daycare centers in Austin. I worked with infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I am familiar with minimum standards for child care and child development and safety practices. I am CPR/ First Aid Certified. More importantly, I like to have fun. I also worked in elderly care. I love working with young children because they look at the world from a unique and magical perspective. I strongly encourage playing outside, reading books, and science/ art activities. I also incorporate basic sign language/Spanish. I have an 11-year-old son.
