About Heather

Hi - My name is Heather and I'm currently living in Bellingham. I've been working with kids since my early twenties and love it. I started by watching neighborhood kids and then began babysitting kids with special needs after receiving my nursing assistance certificate. Over the last few years, I've worked primarily as a licensed massage therapist, in home care with seniors as a c. n. a., and as a direct support professional working with adults who have developmental disabilities. I love caring for kids of all ages. If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside for a walk or play with them on a playground. Indoor arts and crafts activities are a lot of fun too. :) In my free time, I love hiking with my dog and spouse, cleaning and tidying up around our home, and preparing creative and interesting meals.
