My name is Heidi B. and I have held a variety of positions working with children of all ages as well as working with families who have twins and children with special needs, (Down Syndrome and William Syndrome). Past care experiences include: morning routines, meal preparations, leading and participating in constructive indoor and outdoor activities. I also have basic signing ability that has often aided me in communicating with children who are just learning how to talk. In addition to the above, I have a great love for children of all ages. As a caregiver, Heidi went above and beyond with our son. She took advantage of many play and exercise options in our area, spent lots of time reading to/with him, gave him opportunities for socialization, and offered helpful, constructive ideas and suggestions. Really liked her idea to keep a communication diary and whiteboard for communication and consistency. Regretfully, our circumstances changed and we were unable to keep Heidi although we would have liked to. Gladly recommend Heidi as a great caregiver.
