About Heidi

I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Vermont and many years of childcare experience. Over the years, I have worked as an infant teacher, assistant preschool teacher and as a nanny. I truly enjoy working with young children. I am a nurturing and patient caregiver who works hard to create a stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment for the children I care for. I think that reading, floor time, outdoor time, and general play time are important for infants and toddlers. As children get older, I also set up arts and crafts and nature activities based on the skills and interests of the child. I have experience with infant feeding (preparing breast milk bottles and formula bottles and feeding solid foods), prepping snacks and lunches for toddlers and preschoolers, diapering, toilet training and many other care related tasks. I am CPR certified.
