About Heidi

I have been working in the Healthcare/Human Services field for over 20 years . I have worked in skilled nursing facilities, group homes and home care. Out of all of them home care is my favorite by far. I truly believe that our loved ones benefit from "aging in place". I currently do work for a local home care agency as a Certified Home Health Aide. I just received recognized by NYS Association of Health Care Providers for 2023 as a Hero in the Home, for providing excellent home care. This is a Statewide Caregiver Recognition Award. I was nominated for this by the home health agency that I work for part time. I can provide a copy of this upon request. I have experience with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, TBI, Stroke, Hospice and people with Intellectual Disabilities. I have experience with medicine assist, tube feedings, Ostomy/Ileostomy care and Catheter care. Also doctor appointments , grocery shopping and errands.
